Week 2 Holiday Marketing plan
If your first event is Columbus Day Weekend take advantage of the new season for a new look of your store (Did you clean the windows?).
If you are able to paint the store, you have given it an instant face lift to your environment. Use seasonal decorations throughout the store.
A window display incorporating natural items (pumpkins, squash, gourds, driftwood, stones or rocks) can be eye catching. Pick a theme and don't clutter it with too many products. It's confusing to your customer
You can communicate with the other merchants in your area to do cooperative advertising with coupon exchanges. Think about advertising through emails, publications and bulletins of organizations. Come up with an ad that has all parties involved for print and emails.
